Titanium is the newest to the market and has gained popularity very quickly becoming the choice metal for children, adults with new piercings, and anyone with metal sensitivities. With titanium you get the full look and feel of any other jewelry but with no allergic reactions.

Gold 10kt and 14kt gold are also options for your earrings. The biggest problem here is cost and sometimes look. Sometimes a silver color just looks better. Gold plated or gold filled will likely cause reactions.

In both Niobium and Titanium posts, fish hooks, and hoop styles are available. They require no extra treatment than any other type of earring and Titanium has as long of a life expectancy as gold.
